----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Image] EcoPassages, Inc. was founded to provide individuals and small
groups with unique and participatory travel experiences that are
educational, enriching, and enjoyable. Programs focus in three primary
areas: marine and coastal ecology; botany, geography, and land-based
ecological systems; and, ornithology. Although each trip will have a primary
focus area, our highly trained and experienced trip leaders will also
address the rich and complex inter-relationships between all scientific
disciplines and aspects of the environment.

As part of our commitment to the preservation of the environment, a portion
of EcoPassages' profits will be invested in environmental education and
conservation programs. Programs scheduled in 1996 and 1997 will take place
in the Dominican Republic, an exotic, and for many North Americans and
Europeans, undiscovered land that provides one of the world's richest
ecological classrooms.

Educational: We have selected truly exceptional scientists and educators to
develop program curricula according to their primary specialties. Each
ecotour will be lead by a scientific expert who will guide you through the
complex ecological environment you will be visiting. The ecotours will also
provide a forum to explore the status of current environmental conditions in
relationship to larger social, economic, and developmental factors impacting
the health and future of the local and global environment.

Enriching: The experience of visiting and exploring the rich, [Image]
natural environment of the Dominican Republic will add to your life
experiences. In minutes you will transported from the crystal-blue ocean to
pristine, land-locked lagoons. The lush, tropical rain forests and mountains
are home to scores of plants, birds, and wildlife that can only be found in
this unique, friendly, and for many, undiscovered island country.

Enjoyable: EcoPassages' programs are designed to provide access to the local
environment in a refined manner. We have selected smaller, quality hotels
that enable you to live in immediate contact with the local environment.
Each ecotour is accompanied by a specially selected scientific expert,
chosen for their teaching skills and knowledge of the tour's specific
environmental focus. Tours will also be accompanied by a Dominican
representative of the company's Operations Team, chosen for their language
skills and ability to provide guests with insight into Dominican culture.
