TREE PLANTING PROGRAMS
I'm writing a magazine article about eco-travel -- when we travel
..our vehicles consume fuels that put carbon dioxide (CO2) into
the air, adding tothe greenhosue effect. To offset global warming,
we can plant trees -- about 1 tree every 2000 miles of driving,
one tree for every 1300 miles of flying.
I'm looking for tree planting programs -- especially programs outside
the USA. If you know of a tree planting program, please send info to
me, including cost of the tree planting, address of the organization,
and phone (email if available). Thanks,
Steve McCrea 71524.2372@compuserve.
If you would like a free estimate of how much carbon dioxide you emit,
send me the following data: miles traveled by car and airplane,
electricity used, annual basis. my fax 954 462 4423.
