We have here listed what we identified in May 1999, updated in September 1999, as ecotourism, sustainable or nature tourism offers. We had a first list established in Nov. 1997 that we updated.. We confirmed this data at the 3rd Ecotourism Fair held in Sabana de la Mar on 19-27 of June 1999, and through year 2000.

Any inclusion in this list does not guarantee anything, as Kiskeya Alternative did not investigate the reality of environmental, social or cultural sustainability of this offers. We are in the process of establishing a certification procedure. Most (not all) of the businesses on this list are registered as ecotourism at the State Secretariat of Tourism of Dominican Republic.
