Those supporting or participating in the conference will include the
following:Icelandic Ministry of Agriculture, Icelandic Ministry of
Communications (Tourism), Icelandair, Ecovast (European Committee for the
Village and the Small Town).
Conference management will be handled by IFH TOURS, a tour operator handling
all land arrangements but with a speciality in domestic and international
marketing and sales for the agritourism product.There will be speakers from
eight countries, seven from Europe and one from New Zealand. The conference
language will be English. The conference speeches will be published in a
forthcoming edition of The Journal of Sustainable Tourism subject to
approval by the board of editors.
