The primary mission of this public site is to relay information on
ecotourism projects throughout the hemisphere (see destinations listed
below). In addition, this site provides a special focus on the U.S.-Mexico
borderlands and relays environmental news throughout the Americas. Special
Information: This site also includes information on Environmental Trade and
Technologies, including information on sustainable development.

El Planeta Platica
In the spring of 1994 I created an environmental newsletter to address the
needs of conscientious travelers who want to know more about Latin America,
thus the Spanish title, which translates as "The Earth Speaks."
Planeta is an eclectic collection of materials - news, resources, contact
lists and recipes. Finally, it allows me to stay in touch with good friends
across the hemisphere who work on environmentally sustainable projects.
